Reconstruction of Periodically Nonuniformly Sampled Bandlimited Signals Using Time-varying Fir Filters

چکیده
This paper deals with reconstruction of nonuniformly sampled bandlimited continuous-time signals using time-varying discrete-time FIR filters. The point of departure is a representation of the reconstructed sequence that utilizes a time-frequency function. This representation enables a proper utilization of the slight oversampling that is assumed and reduces the reconstruction problem to a design problem that resembles an ordinary filter design problem. Of particular interest in this paper is an important special case of nonuniform sampling that corresponds to a certain type of periodic nonuniform sampling. It is shown how the reconstruction problem in this case can be posed as a multirate filter-bank design problem, thus with requirements on a distortion transfer function and a number of aliasing transfer functions.

Reconstruction of Nonuniformly Sampled Bandlimited Signals by Means of Time-Varying Discrete-Time FIR Filters
This paper deals with reconstruction of nonuniformly sampled bandlimited continuous-time signals using time-varying discretetime finite-length impulse response (FIR) filters. The main theme of the paper is to show how a slight oversampling should be utilized for designing the reconstruction filters in a proper manner. Based on a time-frequency function, it is shown that the reconstruction probl...
متن کاملReconstruction of Nonuniformly Sampled Bandlimited Signals Using Digital Fractional Delay Filters
This paper considers the problem of reconstructing nonuniformly sampled bandlimited signals using a synthesis system composed of digital fractional delay filters. The overall system can be viewed as a generalization of time-interleaved ADC systems. By generalizing these systems, it is possible to eliminate the errors that are introduced in practice due to time-skew errors.
متن کاملReconstruction of Nonuniformly Sampled Bandlimited Signals Using Digital Fractional Delay Filters: Error and Quantization Noise Analysis
This paper deals with the problem of reconstructing nonuniformly sampled bandlimited signals. This problem arises in, e.g., time-interleaved analog-to-digital converter (ADC) systems due to time-skew errors. A synthesis system composed of (ideal) digital fractional delay filters for the reconstruction was recently proposed in [1]. In this paper, we briefly recapitulate the theory and continue w...
متن کاملReconstruction of nonuniformly sampled bandlimited signals by means of digital fractional delay filters
This paper considers the problem of reconstructing a class of nonuniformly sampled bandlimited signals of which a special case occurs in, e.g., time-interleaved analog-to-digital converter (ADC) systems due to time-skew errors. To this end, we propose a synthesis system composed of digital fractional delay filters. The overall system (i.e., nonuniform sampling and the proposed synthesis system)...
متن کاملEFFICIENT RECONSTRUCTION OF TWO-PERIODIC NONUNIFORMLY SAMPLED SIGNALS APPLICABLE TO TIME-INTERLEAVED ADCs
Nonuniform sampling occurs in many practical applications either intentionally or unintentionally. This thesis deals with the reconstruction of two-periodic nonuniform signals which is of great importance in two-channel timeinterleaved analog-to-digital converters. In a two-channel time-interleaved ADC, aperture delay mismatch between the channels gives rise to a two-periodic nonuniform samplin...
